Drive-through racking offers maximum storage capacity in minimal space and is widely used for storing large quantities of low-variety goods. This type of racking boasts a strong load-bearing capacity and a simple structure, allowing forklift access and storage space to be shared.
After receiving an order from a logistics and warehousing company in Hainan, we held numerous discussions with the client. Based on their requirements, site, cargo specifications, and needs, we recommended drive-through racking. Our professional design team, considering their specific needs and the advantages of drive-through racking system, ultimately developed a customized solution. The project was successfully completed yesterday. Below, Brothers Shelves will share a case study from this application:
First, the drive-through racking was designed based on the height of the client's warehouse. The racking reached the full height of the warehouse, creating a four-tier rack system. Goods can be placed on pallets, allowing for direct forklift access. Guide rails were installed on the drive-through racking to minimize damage to both the goods and the racking.
This batch of drive-in racking took seven days from delivery to installation. The entire installation process was rigorous and orderly, following the construction plan step by step, and the entire project was completed within the scheduled timeframe. The project is now complete, and the client is very satisfied with the collaboration. We will continue to monitor the ongoing maintenance of the drive-in racking!
